Rent a Space at Mid City Civic
Looking for a place to bring your next production or event to life? Mid City Civic Theatre offers rental space for performances, rehearsals, workshops, and community gatherings in the heart of Baton Rouge. Tell us what you’re planning, and we’ll help you explore the space and support that fit your event.
What comes with a rental?
Every event has different needs. When you submit a request, we’ll review your proposed dates, space, schedule, audience size, and production requirements. We’ll then discuss available access, staffing, ticketing, and technical support with you. Any approved services and costs will be outlined in your rental agreement.
Planning to use lighting, sound, projection, or other theatre equipment? Please describe those needs in your request. MCCT must approve anyone who operates our technical systems, and training or technical staffing may involve an additional charge.
How to request a rental:
Tell us about your event. Complete the request form below with your preferred dates and the basics of your production or gathering.
We review your request. We’ll check space availability and discuss any questions about your schedule or needs.
We confirm the details. If the rental is a good fit, we’ll outline the approved space, services, costs, and terms in a rental agreement.
You secure your date. Your space is reserved once MCCT receives the signed rental agreement and required deposit.

Please allow up to 10 business days for MCCT to respond. Requested dates are subject to space availability. This request is for planning only and does not reserve a date or form a rental agreement. Rental space is reserved only after MCCT receives a signed rental agreement and the required deposit.
